Belgravia — Fluted Glass Gooseneck Wall Sconce

A wide, shallow shade in softly amber-tinted ribbed glass — vertical flutes radiating from the centre to a slightly flared bell-mouth rim, like a coolie hat tipped point-up over a low-hanging Edison bulb. Above the shade, a graceful S-curve gooseneck arm in warm polished brass arcs forward from a clean circular brass wall plate, finished with a polished brass bulb-holder collar and the maker's small label affixed to its rim — an honest detail, never sanded off.

With an Edison filament bulb dropped inside, warm light spills downward through the ribbed amber glass and casts a soft, golden honey-toned wash on the wall — a gentler, more decorative light than a metal shade can give. Position the Belgravia where its fluted glass can catch natural light during the day and cast soft refractions at night.
