Marchesa is the kind of fixture that turns a room into an occasion. Twelve gracefully scrolled arms sweep outward from a slender central column, each tipped with a candle-style lamp, while one thousand six hundred faceted crystal-effect prisms cascade beneath them in a glittering waterfall of light. It is, unapologetically, a piece designed to be looked at — the kind of chandelier that catches every angle of evening light and scatters it across the room.

The silhouette is drawn from the great Maria-Theresa-style chandeliers of eighteenth-century Bohemia, where the most coveted lighting in Europe was assembled from clear-crystal arms threaded with strung beads. Marchesa carries that lineage forward in a clear-crystal-effect frame finished with subtle chrome detailing, allowing the fixture to read as pure cascading crystal rather than visible metalwork — an ethereal, almost floating presence in the room.

Marchesa is delivered with the frame pre-assembled and the crystal strings carefully packed for the customer to attach during installation — the final hanging of the crystals is an important part of arriving at the perfect cascade and is straightforward to complete with two people. We strongly recommend installation by a qualified electrician given the fixture's weight and the importance of a secure ceiling fixing.
